In 1986, Kevin Barton started Astra Removals from his home in Bournemouth. What began as a small local operation — built on careful handling and personal service — quickly grew as word spread about the quality of work Kevin provided.
Over the years, the business expanded naturally. House removals, office relocations, international moves — driven by repeat customers and personal recommendations. In 2019, the company was formally incorporated as Astra Removals South UK Ltd.
Today, Astra Removals is run by the next generation of the Barton family, carrying forward the same values Kevin built the business on: treat every customer's belongings as if they were your own, be honest about pricing, and always go the extra mile.
