Furniture dismantle & reassembly is not included with Man & Van. It's a separate chargeable service at £50/hr — see below if you need it. Basic insurance is also not included; we recommend taking out full transit cover if your items have significant value.
More than a van-load? No problem.
If your move is bigger than a single van will comfortably take, we'll upgrade you to a 7.5-tonne Luton, combine multiple vehicles, or switch you over to our full removals service — whichever gives you the best price for the job. We never under-vehicle a move; we'd rather quote the right size up front than leave you stuck on the day.

Our man and van service is charged at £50/hr (per crew of two) with a 5-hour minimum (£250 + VAT floor on labour, £590 + VAT minimum total once travel + materials are factored in). The clock starts and stops at our depot. Rates include the van, driver, helper, and fuel — basic insurance is an optional £50 add-on.

How much does a man and van cost in Bournemouth?
Our hourly rate is £50 per hour per crew member, with a 5-hour minimum. Once travel and materials are factored in, the minimum total is £590 + VAT. Time beyond the minimum is billed in 30-minute increments. Basic insurance is an optional £50 add-on.
Can you move a single large item?
Absolutely. We regularly collect and deliver individual sofas, beds, wardrobes, fridges, washing machines, and other bulky items. The 5-hour / £590 + VAT minimum applies because depot-to-depot timing covers the round trip.
Do I need to pack everything first?
For man and van bookings, we recommend having items boxed and ready to go, as the hourly clock is running. If you need packing help, our full removal service or packing service may be better value.
Can you help with loading and unloading?
Yes. Our team handles all loading and unloading. We bring blankets and straps to protect your items and use the van's tail-lift for heavy pieces.
